Apart from being a slow fashion brand and producing only limited quantities for every design of clothing, we try our best to be as close to the zero waste concept by up-cycling fabric cut-offs and textile scraps into clothing in a medley of prints and accessories.  Marginalized women refugees in Jakarta make all our accessories.

Fabric and Print

OA ANKARA BUCKET HATS
Traditional West African wax print fabric sourced in the markets in Nigeria.
Wax print is 100% cotton (non-stretch fabric). It will soften with wear and wash, while the colours won't fade.
All wax cotton prints will have slight imperfections throughout, these are not faults and are a natural part of the wax printing process.

Size & Fit

Sizing is standard however to ensure you are getting the desired fit, we recommend checking your head circumference.

The fabric is non-stretch so it is always best to ensure there is plenty of space between your measurements and the measurement of the garment.

Look After Me

  • Cold machine wash on a gentle cycle with the garment flipped inside out. 
  • Wash with like colours. 
  • Do not bleach, instead try baking soda if you need to remove stains. 
  • Do not Tumble dry. Hang the garments to dry, avoid wringing or twisting them. 
  • Steam or warm iron as needed and iron the inside. 
  • All fabric has been pre-treated by hand before sewing the garment to avoid any colour bleed and shrinkage. 

Shipping 

OliveAnkara is committed to providing the most responsible and clean shipping services possible. All orders will be packed in a reusable dust-bag and reusable-reversible box. Our packaging is compostable and biodegradable.

We offer free shipping domestically on all orders over S$30 and internationally on all orders over S$259.

There will be no charge for self pick-up from the showroom. The self pick-up lead time is 7 working days from the time you place your order.
