AJO AYE

OA Originals Prints embody the beginning of a brighter dawn and a new age. Our first first sustainable, Afro-Asian fusion collection 'Ajo Aye' for women of all colours has arrived.

2021 is a year of transformation for us, we are on a long journey because we are not there yet but every step in the right direction matters.

The first collection created using OliveAnkara Original prints is called AJO AYE, which translates to ‘COLOURFUL JOURNEY in Yoruba.

Every piece in this collection boldly displays its iconic fusion of cultural influences,  incorporating West African motifs and Japanese-like motifs. All the designs are made with integrity, curiosity and kindness by skilled artisans using natural biodegradable fibres TENCEL™ Lyocell eco-fabrics.

Ajo Aye '21 is our first Waste Neutral Collection.

The collection was inspired by Yemoja, the Yoruba WATER goddess that was the mother of oceans and rivers, and Sui, the Japanese water element that represents flow and change.

Donning the AJO AYE is a woman who perceives the world in her own fascinating way and seeks her interests with a passion that is contagious. The colourful fabric that drapes over her body in bold prints exudes confidence and fearlessness.

The Collection reinforces the best part of who we are and hope to be.
